 What exactly is Cat Spray you ask? Cat spray is a combination of urine and pheromones that females as well as  male cats spray in order to send different messages to other cats.

So do female cats spray?  Yes female cats most definately do spray.  Female cats usually spray when there in heat, feel threatned, to mark there territory, are anxious, excited, or to show ownership. 

Male Cats spray for the same reasons usually. 

Cleaning Cat Spray can be a very tedious task if you let it.  To clean cat spray try using baking soda and vinegar, they seem to neutralise the cat spray odor.  Whatever you do do not use Ammonia to clean cat spray.  YOu will only make it worse.
